Attention for Intensio!

Αφού δεν μας έκατσε να βρούμε εισιτήρια στην Σταχτοπούτα που ανεβαίνει τις γιορτές στο Μέγαρο (σνιφ κλαψ), είπαμε να πάμε με τη Μαρία στο Παλλάς να δούμε τι φρούτο είναι αυτό το Ρωσιδάκι ο Daniil Simkin, που τον είχαμε ξαναδεί βέβαια με τη Ζαχάροβα, αλλά τότε τα ματάκια μας είχανε καρφωθεί στον Ivan Vasiliev.

Πάμε λοιπό στο Παλάς, και οποία έκπληξις: τα εισιτήρια που σαν γκατζόλα είχα παραλάβει από τον σπαζοκλ*μπάνια πωλητή, ήταν στον εξώστη (στα μούτρα μου που δεν τα τσέκαρα), ενώ εγώ είχα αγοράσει για πλατεία! Τέσπα, δεν καθόμασταν και πρώτη σειρά για να με πιάσουν οι φοβίες μου ότι κρέμομαι στο κενό, είχαμε και καλή οπτική οπότε η γκρίνια ξεχάστηκε γρήγορα.

Η παράσταση ξεκίνησε με ambient beats και τρισδιάστατα γραφικά που δημιουργούσαν κουτιά μέσα στα οποία χόρευαν ανά ντουέτα οι χορευτές ενώσω μας συστήνονταν, ενώ τυπωμένο πρόγραμμα δεν υπήρχε αλλά οι πληροφορίες για κάθε χορογραφία παρουσιάζονταν στον τοίχο της όλης video project περιρρέουσας ατμόσφαιρας!

Και τότε βγήκε ο μικροκαμωμένος πρωταγωνιστής, για τον οποίο σκαρώθηκε και το εν λόγω γκαλά χορού, ο Daniil Simkin, και άρχισε να πετάει γύρω γύρω με φοβερή δεξιοτεχνία, που έμοιαζε όμως λίγο με επίδειξη ενόργανης στους Ολυμπιακούς! Εντωμεταξύ και η 2η χορογραφία που διάλεξε να παρουσιάσει, ήταν λίγο παλιομοδίτικη, σε στιλ καμπαρέ, παρόλα αυτά ήταν καθηλωτικός! Βγήκαν και μετά οι “δευτεράντζες” και κάνανε έτσι διάφορα pas de deux από τον Καρυοθραύστη, τη Λίμνη των Κύκνων, την Ωραία Κοιμωμένη και άλλα, ενώ την παράσταση για μένα έκλεψε μία πανάλαφρη και τρισχαριτωμένη χορεύτρια, η Lucia Lacarra, στο «Θαίς – Ονειροπόληση».

Το φινάλε κινήθηκε στο στυλ της έναρξης, με τα ντουέτα να μας αποχαιρετάνε μέσα από τρισδιάστατες φλόγες, γραμμές και σπείρες υπό τους ήχους σύγχρονης, χορευτικής μουσικής. Την κάναμε γρήγορα και με ελαφρά, μιας και οι καρέκλες στον εξώστη δεν είχανε πολύ χώρο για τα ποδαράκια μας και το stretching ήταν απαραίτητο, με τη χαρά όμως ότι κάναμε ένα νέο μπαλετικό φίλο που ελπίζουμε να ξαναδούμε γρήγορα! Εγώ βέβαια θα ήθελα να τον δω στο Lincoln Center στη NY…

Since we didn’t manage to find tickets for Cinderella to be staged this month in the Concert Hall of Athens (bou hou), we decided with Maria to visit Palace Theater, so as to find out what’s up with Daniil Simkin, the Russian dancer we had already seen in the past in Zakharova’s gala, but at the time our eyes were riveted to Ivan Vasiliev.

So we enter Palace Theater only to find out that although the tickets I’d bought were for the main hall, what was delivered to me were tickets for the balcony, I mean wtf gr*¶☻. We sat anyway, and luckily not on the first row, so we avoided my irritating phobias of hanging in the empty space.

The performance started with ambient beats and 3D graphics which created the illusion of boxes inside where the dancers introduced themselves in pairs to us, while the absence of printed program was covered by video projection installments in the upper side of the stage.

And then, the petit leading man, for whom the whole gala was organized, Daniil Simkin, entered the stage and started flying around, exhibiting his amazing dancing skills, which seemed a little like competing for the Olympics sometimes, but whatever! In addition, the second choreography he chose to present was a bit démodé, something in a cabaret style, still he was fascinating though! And then, the less bright stars took control of the stage performing various pas de deux from the Nutcracker, the Swan Lake, the Sleeping Beauty and more classical and not ballets, but for me the real revelation was Lucia Lacarra , a very gracious and looking as light as a feather dancer, who gave a captivating performance on “Thais”.

The finale was like the beginning with a dancing farewell through 3D flames, lines and spirals as well as progressive, music beats. We left quite quickly, since the seats in the balcony weren’t exactly comfortable, and some leg stretching was necessary, feeling happy though after having made a new ballet friend who we are really looking forward to seeing again soon! I would like to see him at NY City’s Lincoln Center though…
